갠지스강으로부터 200m를 지정하여 모든 건축행위를 불법으로 간주하며 문화유산으로 원도심의 풍경을 보호하려 했으나 실질적인 정책이나 지원이 이뤄지지 않아 원도심 내부의 주거 환경은 급속도로 쇠락하였습니다. 기념비적인 가트ghat의 모습과는 상반된 각각의 작은 마을 공동체는 주민들의 종교와 전통 그리고 그들의 오랜 문화의 다양성이 건축에 반영되어 실질적으로 원도심을 유지해 온 역할자입니다. 원도심의 복잡한 내부구조 및 건축의 형태와 구성요소(시대, 재료, 양식등)를 현장을 통해 읽어내고 주민들과의 인터뷰 등의 자료를 구축하였습니다.  보존이나 주민들의 주거 환경 개선보다는 도시의 전면적인 개발을 선포한 중앙정부의 도시정책에 인도-프랑스 국제건축도시현장워크숍은 15개의 그룹작업을 통해 원도심을 위해 15개의 제안된 건축과 도시 프로젝트를 전시를 통해 공유하였습니다. 15개 비디오 프로젝트 진행. 워크숍 결과물 ‘Varanasi 2017’ 출판 (바라티 비디야피쓰 건축대학교BVCOA). 주 인도 한국문화원 후원으로 바라나시2006, 2007 작업인 40여개의 판넬을 출력해 워크숍 기간 동안 전시하였습니다.

By designating 200m from the Ganges River, all construction activities as illegal for a stretch of 200M from the Ganges river, it attempts to protect the landscape of the original city center as a cultural heritage, but due to the lack of practical policies or support, the residential environment inside the original city center has rapidly declined.

Each small village community, contrary to the monumental ghat, is a role that has retained its original city center by reflecting the diversity of its people's religion, traditions, and their long cultural heritage. The complex internal structure of the original city center and the form and components of the architecture (era, material, style, etc.) are read through the site and materials such as interviews with residents are constructed.

In response to the central government's urban policy that proclaimed the full development of the city rather than preserving or improving the residential environment, the workshop provided 15 proposed architectural and urban projects and videos for the original city center through 15 group work. With the support of the Korean Cultural Center in India, Varanasi 2006 and 2007 produced 40 panels and displayed them during the workshop.
